One afternoon, hubby and I decided to see what was down the road from our farm in Tanay. So we went for a leisurely drive and followed it, passing thru Santa Maria, Real then Infanta, Quezon. We passed by BREATHTAKING scenery -- waterfalls, mountains & streams. Low temperatures during the "-ber" months are at 18*C and highs at 25*C. We fell in love with the place.
Long story short, we were able to secure a beautiful piece of property in Kamagong, Real, Quezon some 28 km away from the farm, across a proclaimed forest reserve. Our stone & wood cabin sits on the ridge with a view of the Pacific Ocean. It has a wading pool filled with fresh mountain water. Four hundred steps down is a small waterfall. We have a front row seat and are enjoying the cool, crisp mountain air while watching untouched nature at its best -- ideal for hiking, bird watching, star gazing; a writers paradise!
